M16 The Eagle Nebula

The image below is of M16 The Eagle Nebula. M16 is a popular target of astrophotographers and is very photogenic. It was made somewhat famous by the Hubble Space Telescope a few years ago. The image below was taken on 7/1/05. It consists of 45 minutes of Luminance data. The conditions deteriorated before I had a chance to shoot the color data. Next time out, I'll shoot the colors.
